When Lorson Resources Limited was conceptualised years ago, the dream was to develop a Digital Imaging Bureau Service. As the years rolled on the dream continued to take shape and form. During those initial years of pounding the pavements developing our market a number of things became evident:

• There is a major opportunity area in moving to the paperless office that information technology has so long been aiming to achieve.
• For an organisation to truly capitalise on its information asset for mission critical business then it must be able to command ready access regardless of whether it is on paper, film, email, video, PDA, Internet, etc. Therefore management and access are important.
• Start-up businesses typically have only few records. However as they grow and prosper, the volumes of records generated increase exponentially and it is at this juncture the need for proper records and information management becomes apparent.
• Because the urgency for implementing any serious records management system has not been a consideration for organisations, the state of affairs has been allowed to evolve over time in a rather random and haphazard manner. However, recent and well-known international incidents involving Enron and WorldCom in the US and Parmalat in Italy, vividly illustrate the dire adverse legal consequences for management irregularities shrouded in a maze of filing and recoding systems. Organisations are beginning to wake up!

LRL has invested the last eleven (11) years of the operation building and developing this business. That investment of time, organisational effort and business focus has yielded:
