One of the primary goals for LRL is to assist organisations ensure that there is an established comprehensive programme for formulated and integrated management of their information assets. As such, LRL's team of record and information management professionals have been working with clients to provide the records management related education, guidance and assistance required before, during and after any implementation or conversion exercise.
Important issues such as organisation, classification, retention, protection, storage and destruction of documents/records are issues not to be disregarded but instead seriously considered with policies for them well defined. This involves a paradigm shift combining computing systems and technology with records management issues as more and more manual processes are replaced by automated workflow thus bridging the gap between paper-based and electronic information.
LRL has been developing and consolidating a multifaceted Records and Information Management systems methodology and offering. We have been working and applying elements of these functions with over sixty (60) customers across different industries regionally. The strategies we have engaged to serve our customers include services in the area of records management consultancy, training and education, sales, service and support of software in the information management continuum.
