
Atle Skjekkeland joined AIIM as Managing Director of AIIM's European operations in June 2004, and was promoted to Vice President, Global Education Services & EMEA January 2006.
Atle has several years of industry experience as manager and consultant for solution providers focused on information andoutput management. In the last few years he has helped North American and European companies understand strategies, methods, and tools through the development and implementation of training programs in the US, Scandinavia, Germany, Benelux, and the UK.
Atle holds an MSc (Business) from the Norwegian School ofEconomics and Business Administration, CompTIA CDIA+ certification, ERMs, ECMs, and MIT. He is also one of the directors of the DLM Forum in Europe, which is an initiative by the European Commission that links all EU's national archives and interested parties. The DLM Forum is currently supporting the European Commission developing Moreq2, - a new standard for the functional requirements of managing electronic records.
Renowned as a very energetic and lively speaker, Atle is frequently asked to present at meetings and conferences throughout North America, Europe, Middle East, and Africa. His background as one of the most experienced and well known ECM and DM trainers in the world makes him knowledgeable in a wide range of topics.
